Bandelier Technologies Selected for New Mexico LEEP Cohort 5

Bandelier Technologies is proud to announce that Founder and CEO Stephen Buchanan has been selected as a Fellow in New Mexico LEEP Cohort 5, a highly competitive program designed to accelerate the commercialization of breakthrough deep-tech innovations emerging from the state.

NM LEEP (Lab-Embedded Entrepreneur Program) brings together a select group of founders working at the intersection of advanced science, national security, and real-world impact. As part of Cohort 5, Bandelier will further advance its work in quantum radar and sensing — delivering next-generation detection and navigation capabilities without requiring quantum memory, a key differentiator that enables scalability and operational relevance.

Over the next two years, participation in NM LEEP will enable deeper collaboration with national laboratory researchers, access to targeted business training and mentorship, and engagement with a broad network of customers, investors, and strategic partners. This environment is designed to accelerate the transition of frontier technologies from research to deployable solutions — an objective that closely aligns with Bandelier’s mission.

Bandelier’s selection underscores both the technical maturity of its platform and the growing recognition of New Mexico as a hub for quantum and defense innovation. Rooted in partnerships with the national labs and driven by mission-focused execution, Bandelier continues to build sensing technologies that address some of the most challenging detection and navigation problems facing modern defense and critical infrastructure.

We’re honored to be part of NM LEEP Cohort 5 and look forward to the work ahead as we continue advancing quantum capabilities from New Mexico to the national stage.
